Borraco River
As you go along the coast, towards the town of Maruggio at about three kilometres west from San Pietro in Bevagna Tower, you will find the Borraco sighting Tower located near a perennial flow of water called “Borraco River” from which it takes the name. The tower has got a truncated square pyramid base and three embrasures on each side. The Borraco river is a spring-fed river. The several springs form two branches which merge into a single course. Its vegetation is similar to that one of the Chidro river.
